Provent Nasal MicroValve Therapy Most effective in cases of mild-moderate OSA Provent is a new treatment involving adhesive nasal MicroValves applied externally to each nostril during sleep. Mandibular Advancement Splint (MAS) Often referred to as a ‘dental appliance’, the MAS is a device to treat snoring and mild-moderate OSA by holding the lower jaw slightly forward, which tightens the soft tissue and muscles of the upper airway. After a patient has obtained a MAS, it may be recommended that he/ she undergo another sleep study to evaluate effectiveness of the device.
