Sleep Australia has deep understanding of sleep disorders and their related impacts for work. Many chronic illnesses can cause fatigue, which may or may not be associated with increased sleepiness. Sleep Australia is able to undertake sleep assessments to identify possible risks to workers.

There are a range of regulatory requirements around sleep and management of sleep disorders. Vehicle drivers including Commercial Vehicle Drivers are covered by the Assessing Fitness to Drive, a joint NTC and Austroads publication containing the nationally agreed medical standards for the purposes of drivers licensing.

The National Standard for Health Assessment of Rail Safety Workers includes specific requirements for assessment and compliance of sleep conditions.

Sleep Australia understands these requirements and has extensive experience in this area. If you require a sleep study, condition assessment or management and/or compliance monitoring, Sleep Australia can assist.
